Catalytic converters stolen in Cumming

CUMMING, Ga. — Someone took the catalytic converters off delivery trucks, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office incident report.

About 10 a.m. on Nov. 6 an employee of Fresh N Fit Cuisine, 6080 Parkway North Drive, was preparing for delivery when he noticed catalytic converters were missing from two of his trucks.

Deputies found a portion of the fence had been cut for the thief to enter. The converters are valued at $5,000.

Cash taken from home

CUMMING, Ga. — A thief stole $2,000 out of a man’s home, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office incident report.

About 5:30 p.m. Nov. 6, a man in the 3300 block of Sharon Circle told deputies he discovered the money was missing from a drawer in his bedroom. He wasn’t sure how long the money had been gone. The missing cash was wrapped in a large gym clip and was all 20-dollar bills, the victim told police.

The victim was not able to give deputies any leads as to who may have taken his money.
