ROSWELL, Ga. — The Department of Transportation began construction on the Holcomb Bridge multi-use path Nov. 18.
This 8-foot to 10-foot wide concrete path will run along the south side of Holcomb Bridge Road from the west end of Steeplechase Drive to the east end of Nesbit Ferry Road. It will accommodate all bicycle and pedestrian travel. It also includes a sidewalk leading to Holcomb Bridge Middle School.
Summit Construction was awarded this bond project in the amount of $681,557. The project should be completed by the end of May 2014.
