Better Together grows with new initiatives

MILTON, Ga. – Better Together, a group of Milton residents looking for unique and fun opportunities to connect with neighbors, meets twice monthly at the Bethwell Community Center, 2695 Hopewell Road.

The first of this month’s meetings was held May 5. The next will be May 19 and will begin at 6 p.m. All residents are invited to attend the meetings, where projects and activities of interest are discussed.

Better Together has been focusing on two new initiatives, monthly mailings to new homeowners and connecting residents with Milton’s businesses.

During the past three months, some 125 new homeowners have received a welcome letter from the mayor and the 45-page Milton Newcomer’s Guide.

In addition, on April 15, Better Together had a successful launch of its first in a series of business connection events at Nothing Bundt Cakes on Windward Parkway. This well-publicized event doubled the number of customers that would normally visit the business. Additional events are planned to take place at various Milton businesses in the coming months.
