JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – The gated community planned for 224 acres at the corner of Bell Road and Medlock Bridge Road will be one of four zoning cases to come before the City Council at 7 p.m. May 20.

The zoning cases are being moved up a week so as not to conflict with the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

The cases to be heard are:

RZ-13-003: Bell Road, northeast of the Medlock Road intersection, 224 acres from AG-1 to CUP to be developed as a gated community with 646 homes and a concurrent variance to allow lighted tennis courts and recreation area within 100 feet of property lines (50 feet for lights).

RZ-13-004: Buice Road, northwest of Jones Bridge Road intersection, 5 acres from AG-1 to R-4 to develop a seven-lot single family detached residential subdivision.
