Bank of North Georgia hosts food drive

ALPHARETTA, Ga ¬¬–Bank of North Georgia hosted a peanut butter and jelly food drive benefiting 30 metro Atlanta food pantries on July 24.

The food drive was an effort to support local organizations and communities. Local residents, customers and team members were encouraged to donate peanut butter and jelly to any of the bank’s 41 locations along with local schools, food pantries and churches including North Fulton Community Charities and The Place of Forsyth

Rob Garcia, president and COO of Bank of North Georgia, was thankful in the turnout.

“The challenging economy has caused more and more families to reach out to local food banks for assistance,” Garcia said. “Our team wanted to be sure they have the nutritious food they need to get through the day energized and excited to learn.”
