CUMMING, Ga. — BIO Gymnastics & Athletics Unlimited welcomed seven team members and three coaches from Dynamo UK to their training facility, June 15-21.
The two gyms facilitated a week-long exchange of gymnasts, coaches and technical expertise.
“I have arranged for many receptions such as this throughout the world— Moscow, London— and in all my years I have never seen such a response as this,” said Dr. Vladimir Zaglada, vice president of Dynamo UK and technical director for BIO. “BIO has far exceeded all expectations for providing such a warm reception.”
The girls were also treated to outings at Lake Lanier Islands, Stars N Strikes, Mall of Georgia, Stone Mountain and the World of Coca-Cola.
“The gym was great to train in,” said Kelly Simm, one of the visiting team members and 2012 gold medalist for the floor and vault against Australia. “We managed all [of] our elements.”
BIO Gymnastics & Athletics Unlimited offers gymnastics training, pee-wee tennis, physical education for home schoolers and BIO kid fit.
