Atlanta Sports Hall of Fame coming to Roswell Arts Center

Five members to be inducted in HOF



ROSWELL, Ga.–– The Atlanta Sports Hall of Fame is coming to the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forest Street, June 22.

The event will include a reception and awards ceremony. Beginning at 6 p.m., there will be a reception with a silent auction and raffle, and the induction and awards ceremony will follow at 7 p.m.

The inductees are Ron Bradley, who won 1,372 varsity basketball games as a high school coach, Steve Lundquist, a 1984 Olympic swimming gold medalist, Earl Mann, the manager and owner of the Atlanta Crackers baseball team, Dr. Homer Rice, Georgia Tech athletic director, and Deion Sanders, a former Atlanta Falcon, Atlanta Brave and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Tickets are $25. The first 400 people who purchase a ticket will also receive “Leadership Fitness,” a book by Rice, one of the inductees. All ticket holders will receive a souvenir poster of the HOF class of 2013.
