Angry driver in Johns Creek gets DUI

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – Belligerence toward police officers is no way to get out of a ticket. Especially if that ticket is for DUI, child endangerment and disorderly conduct.

All three charges were levied against Dominique Geraldine Davis, 43, of Summerlin Drive, Alpharetta.

Witnesses told police they were all at the Stevens Creek Drive pool June 1 at 5:41 p.m. when a resident had pulled into the parking lot and parked. As he got out, the vehicle driven by Davis allegedly reversed to leave and hit his car.

When the resident went to speak with Davis, she became angry, cursing and insulting him. She was yelling in the presence of children at the pool as well as her own 4-year-old daughter who was in her car.

When police arrived, she allegedly became more irate, berating them, making racist remarks and ignoring their commands to speak with them. Officers said she smelled of alcohol. While they tried to speak with her, she allegedly tried to drive away with her daughter.

Davis was arrested.
