ALPHARETTA, Ga. — An Alpharetta man was arrested twice for DUI just days apart.
The first time was Oct. 30, when, according to police, the truck belonging to Karl Major, 59, of Crowe Road, Alpharetta, was seen weaving on Old Milton Parkway and almost hit the center median. It was pulled over. The officer reported smelling alcohol on Major’s breath. Major denied drinking, however the field sobriety tests indicated otherwise. Major was arrested for DUI and having open containers of beer in his car.
Three days later, Nov. 2, Major was again arrested for DUI.
A call came in to dispatch about a reckless driver who was weaving on the roadway on Ga. 400 and exited on Old Milton Parkway. The same officer who had pulled Major over Oct. 30 was also the one who responded to the Nov. 2 incident, where Major again was arrested for DUI and failure to maintain lane.
