Alpharetta teens caught with pot, booze



ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Two teens were arrested March 31 on drug charges after they were found with marijuana.

An officer on patrol found a vehicle parked near the rear of an office building at 1:16 p.m. on the Saturday. Inside were the driver, a 17-year-old woman, and Chase Morgan Phillips, 19, of Breckenridge Court, Alpharetta.

The officer noticed Phillips allegedly smoking a marijuana blunt in the car. A search of the vehicle turned up several opened cans of beer, marijuana and 84 small baggies at Phillips' feet. The baggies, commonly used in the sale of drugs, were empty.

Both were arrested for possession of drug-related paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and underage possession of alcohol.
