Alpharetta man shows up drunk to court



ALPHARETTA, Ga. – A man was charged with contempt of court March 14 after he allegedly arrived drunk.

The suspect, Robert Jason Greene, 48, of Alpharetta, was in court for speeding when the solicitor allegedly smelled alcohol on Greene’s breath. Greene said he had a drink before coming to court. He initially claimed his son drove him to the courthouse, and then later admitted to driving himself.

Greene was arrested and charged with DUI and contempt of court.
