Alpharetta employee charged with credit fraud

ALPHARETTA, Ga. – A Walgreens employee was arrested April 9 after allegedly admitting to stealing more than $1,000 using a stolen credit card.

Store workers said Steven DeVonte Fletcher, 20, of Douglasville used a credit card he found in the store to purchase two gift cards valued at $504.95 each. When the owner of the card called the store to say it had been used fraudulently, employees checked surveillance footage and allegedly saw Fletcher make the purchases.

Fletcher allegedly admitted to the theft and was charged with financial fraud.
