ALPHARETTA, Ga. –The Alpharetta Historical Society’s Thursday, Oct. 17, meeting will have a special touch when a panel of members will sit around and discuss Alpharetta in the “old days.”

The panel members are Norman Broadwell, Chestene Manning Carter, Nan Harman-Dempsey, Hazel Wallace Reese, Marjean Wood Birt, Gwen Dinsmore, Jim Spruell, and Connie Mashburn. That adds up to a lot of living in Alpharetta.

They will also share some favorite stories and there will be opportunity for questions to be taken from the audience. This promises to be a very enjoyable and enlightening evening.

The Mansell House & Gardens is at 1835 Old Milton Parkway, Alpharetta. It is a special events facility that can be rented as a special place for families to celebrate the important Alpharetta Historical Society.
