ALPHARETTA, Ga. – The Alpharetta Business Association (ABA) has announced the election of new board members and officers for 2014. At the recent planning session of ABA, the board elected Janet Rodgers, chief executive officer of the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau, as the 2014-2015 president. In addition, Danny Broadway, MBA/partner at Yepser Internet Strategy, was elected 2014 vice president, and Buddy Gash, owner of Gallery 35, is the new 2014 secretary/treasurer.
The board also welcomed the following new directors to serve three-year terms for the association: Chris Sedgwick, owner of Pure Taqueria, Dave Filipowicz, owner of Smokejack, and Steve Manley, president of Manley Land Design.
These directors join current board members Alyx Korner, owner of Alex and Sis, Carol Anderson-Wood of C. Anderson-Wood and Richard Debban, owner of RJD Architect LLC.
“I am excited about being a part of this awesome and professional team of ABA Board members. Everyone on the board works hard to ensure there are a variety of networking, educational and social opportunities for its members to get to know one another and to do business together,” said Rodgers.
