Alleged shoplifter takes trinkets, arrested

ALPHARETTA, Ga. – A $3 bar of soap and a bottle of perfume landed a Roswell man in jail Jan. 30.

Employees of the Marshall’s store on North Point Parkway told police they saw Igor Davydovych, 57, of Roswell Commons Way, Roswell, enter the store and select two bottles of $50 perfume.

He then went to another area of the store and allegedly hid the bottles in his jacket. He then repeated the exercise with a cellphone case and a bar of soap. Davydovych then left the store without paying for the items. He was stopped by employees and arrested for shoplifting.
