ROSWELL, Ga. – Fellowship Christian School held its annual Educating for Eternity banquet at the Cobb Galleria, Monday, Oct. 8 with keynote speaker actor Kirk Cameron.
The banquet kicked off the school’s Fellowship Fund. Cameron is best known for his role as Mike Seaver in the TV series “Growing Pains” and, more recently, for starring in the movie “Fireproof.” He is an active evangelical Christian currently partnering in the ministry The Way of the Master. Cameron and his wife, actress Chelsea Noble, have co-founded The Firefly Foundation.
The banquet was attended by over 600 Fellowship Christian School parents, faculty and friends. Cameron spoke to them about the Biblical principles on which our country is founded and the specific intent of America’s original settlers for home, government and education to be based on God’s word.
