Abingdon Women announces Atlanta-area event

Featuring Bible teachers Babbie Mason and Jessica LaGrone

ROSWELL, Ga. – Abingdon Women, a new division of Abingdon Press focused on grace-based Bible studies created by and for women, is hosting a live event to introduce Bible teachers Babbie Mason and Jessica LaGrone to women in Atlanta.

The event, which happens June 8 at Roswell United Methodist Church, allows women to personally connect with their favorite teachers. The event is free, and registration is available online at www.AbingdonWomen.com. Childcare is provided with advance registration.

Media interviews with Babbie Mason and Jessica LaGrone are available in advance of each event; contact McClure Muntsinger Public Relations for scheduling.

“Abingdon Women is proud to partner with dynamic speakers who engage the hearts and minds of women across the country,” said Susan Salley, associate publisher at Abingdon Press. “We’re honored to produce these intimate events where women can experience teaching and worship with Babbie and Jessica. And the chance to meet and interact with them afterward is often the most memorable part.”

Books and Bible study resources will be sold on site, and the authors will be available to sign books. Abingdon Women hosted three previous events this year, with hundreds of women in attendance.

Additional events are being planned for fall 2013. Registration for all women’s events and

announcements of future events are available at www.AbingdonWomen.com.
