ALPHARETTA, Ga. – More than 50 Alpharetta area restaurants will be serving up their specialties at the 23rd Annual Taste of Alpharetta. The city estimates 40,000 people will attend the festival on Thursday, May 9 from 5 – 10 p.m. in the Historic District of Downtown Alpharetta encompassing Milton Avenue, Roswell Street, Old Roswell Street, Canton Street and Old Canton Street.
In addition to the food, patrons can enjoy a culinary competition, live music and three fun zone areas.
This free admission event invites patrons to purchase food and activity tickets - 10 tickets for $5 per sheet.
Tickets can be redeemed at participating restaurant booths for a wide selection of tastes that will range from $.50 - $3 per sample. Tickets can also be redeemed in the event's three family-friendly fun zones for a variety of activities ranging from pony rides and rock climbing walls, to inflatables, balloon art and henna tattoos.
Local chefs will square off in a culinary competition on stage from 5 – 7 p.m.
Free shuttle and parking will be provided for the event.
