$20K in electronics stolen from Datascan Technologies in Forsyth County



FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A former employee was caught stealing $20,000 in computer equipment, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.

The corporate security director of JM Family Enterprises told deputies that someone stole Cisco computer components from their subsidiary, Datascan Technologies, 5925 Cabot Parkway, in September.

After reviewing the internal and external video surveillance, it showed a former Datascan employee had removed the equipment from the shelves, walked out of the building and put them into this car at about at about 5:30 p.m. Sept. 18.
