CUMMING, Ga. — A shoplifter made off with about $3,300 in designer sunglasses, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.
The manager of Sun Glass Hut, 410 Peachtree Parkway at the Collection shopping center told deputies the theft occurred at about 8:30 p.m. May 16.
The manager said he saw several display racks empty when he was closing up, so he reviewed the video surveillance to look for any suspicious persons.
He said he saw a woman with a blue jacket, yellow shirt and gray purse position herself between him and other customers.
He said the camera showed her removing Prada, Dolce and Gabbana, Ray Ban and Versace sunglasses from display racks.
With the way signs are placed on the racks, he said he was unable to see the woman during the act.
