Northern Ridge District announces new Eagle Scouts

NORTH FULTON, Ga. — The Northern Ridge Boy Scout District, which includes the cities of Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Milton, recently announced its newest Eagle Scouts.

These Scouts all passed their Board of Review on Nov. 30 at the Alpharetta Presbyterian Church:

Andrew Santillo, from Troop 10, was sponsored by St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. His project was to reorganize, clean and refurnish two storage rooms and the associate band director’s room at Alpharetta High School.

Joseph Schlachter, of Troop 1134, was sponsored by St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church. For his project, he revitalized and constructed a new table for the Rectory Garden located at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church.

Riley Womac, of Troop 143, was sponsored by Johns Creek United Methodist Church. He designed and constructed a sitting area for the Peachtree Christian Hospice, including a flagstone patio and a trex bench and swing.

Elijah Klein, of Troop 356, was sponsored by Fellowship Christian School and collected underwear and socks for Must Ministries. Klein gathered over 750 pairs of underwear and over 650 pairs of socks.

Joshua Ng, of Troop 431, was sponsored by Roswell United Methodist Church. Ng’s project was to design and construct of three sets of ramps for three bridges on trails located at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center.

Jordan Coleman, of Troop 734, was sponsored by the Webb Bridge Ward of Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. He designed, constructed and installed 16 guide posts for the Chattahoochee High School Track and Field events.

Grayson Seelke, of Troop 143, was sponsored by John’s Creek United Methodist Church and cleared out an overgrown path at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center. Seelke took the wood from the path and created 60 walking sticks and then built a coral to hold the walking sticks.

Maxwell Walls, of Troop 87, was sponsored by Roswell Presbyterian Church and renovated the outdoor classroom for Holcomb Bridge Middle School. He also designed and built an outdoor whiteboard to aid the teachers.
