Hello Hatcher,

First, I want to thank you for this amazing piece you have written. I actually met a great grandson of Mr. Churchill's at the Roswell History Guild (now closed) years ago. He told some amazing tales and offered keen insight into his humour and wisdom. Churchill changed history by staying at the White House and bending Franklin Roosevelt's ear- after a few brandy's and cigars and late night walks. This forged the friendship that would serve to eventually win the war.
Mr. Churchill was so loved by Americans, that he was named America's first honorary citizen by President Kennedy shortly before his death. Sadly, statesman of his magnitude come around once in a century- none today.
