Fiscal Cliff
December 13, 2012 | 09:25 PM

Rep. Price your article regarding the fiscal cliff represents the "talking points" that your constituents have been hearing for too long with no specifics. What programs are you going to cut? Will the republicans agree to reduce the defense budget; the number of expensive aircraft, warships, unnecessary farm subsidies. What foreign military bases will you close? What tax loopholes, grants, research awards would the republicans eliminate? What specific pro-growth policies would you and the republicans implement? You mentioned jobs. You supported the Keystone pipline which may impact impact the states it traverses. However, you did not support President Obama's jobs bill which would put people to work in 50 states. The latter would benefit your constituents more than the former. Lastly, the defict didn't occur over the past 4 years. Where was your concern when 2 wars were adding to the deficit? Your constituents want answers.
