Driver crashes into ice machine in Cumming

CUMMING, Ga. ó A gas station employee didnít think this was a cool thing at all. After the attendant heard a loud crash, he saw a car had crashed into an ice machine, which smashed into the buildingís front window, according to a Cumming Police incident report.

At about 9 a.m. Feb. 5, the employee of Alís Quick Stop, 1080 Dahlonega Highway, was standing behind the counter helping a customer when he suddenly heard the loud crash.

The employee said all the items that were next to the window fell on the ground.

When he looked outside, he said he saw a man in a Ford Ranger pickup truck had crashed into the ice machine, which pushed it into the window and building.

The employee ran outside to confront the driver, but the driver backed out and fled.
