CUMMING, Ga. — Someone broke into a woman’s car, stole her diaper bag and charged $1,116 on her credit cards, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.

A woman told deputies she parked her 2006 Toyota Highlander outside BodyPlex, 5356 McGinnis Ferry Road, and worked out for about an hour Nov. 26.

When she returned to her car at 7:45 p.m., she found her passenger window shattered and her diaper bag that held her purse and wallet missing.

She said her husband’s $400 HP laptop, which was on the floor behind the driver’s seat, was also taken.

While deputies spoke with the woman, her husband called and said their bank account balance was negative $287.

Later, the woman told deputies she found five charges on her company credit card.

The thief charged $290 at a Kohl’s, $100 at a Walgreens, $290 at a Publix and a total of $434 at two TJ Maxx stores.
