FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. South Forsyth Middle School hosted Honors Night May 23 at Lanier Tech. Susanna DiPietro was presented the DAR Good Citizenship Medal, certificate of award and recognition pin by Melissa Danielsson of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

A good citizen possesses five outstanding qualities that the Daughters of the American Revolution believe will guide them throughout life: honor, service, courage, leadership and patriotism.

DiPietro is an active Girl Scout Cadette with Troop 13774 who earned the Girl Scout Silver Award.

She was involved with the South Forsyth Middle School Leadership Council, the Junior Beta Club and yearbook and was recognized as one of three Girl Scouts who inspired classmates to volunteer at local charities.

DiPietro and Cole Kibler were both recognized for their outstanding contribution in the areas of citizenship and scholarship at South Forsyth by the Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution.

They were presented with the Bronze Good Citizenship Medal.

Kibler was involved in the Junior Beta Club, yearbook, academic bowl team and FCA and served as a Forsyth County Schools student advisory team representative.

He also achieved the rank of Star Scout with BSA Troop 143 with Johns Creek United Methodist Church.
