ALPHARETTA, Ga. A Good Samaritan found $1,600 in the Costco parking lot April 26 and turned every cent of it in.

The victim said he was shopping at the store and accidentally dropped the cash from his pocket in the parking lot. Another customer found the money some time later and attempted to turn it over to Costco management.

When she was told the money would be donated if the victim did not claim it within 90 days, the customer instead took the money to the Alpharetta Public Safety Department.
