FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga.—Bright Light Systems selected Forsyth County as the home of its new headquarters.

“Founded in 2010 to develop a prototype of an energy-efficient LED fixture for NASA’s Space Shuttle Program, Bright Light Systems helps its customer reduce energy consumption by up to 85 percent,” said Brad Lurie, the company’s president and chief executive officer.

“We are uniquely positioned as a first mover in a high-growth industry,” he said.

Lurie said the company thrives by combining hardware and software solutions that reduce energy and maintenance costs while improving the environmental impact of light pollution and providing employees with a safer work environment.

The company’s new headquarters is located along the McFarland Parkway corridor in Forsyth County. The company anticipates that it will exceed $100 million in revenue in the next five to seven years, while generating up to 50 new jobs.
