FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A lifelong northeast Georgia resident was given the honor of having her 3-year-old show dog compete at the American Kennel Club’s inaugural Rally Nationals.

Angelia Chappelear, niece of Forsyth County residents Janice and Gary Clark, and her boxer “Fantasyland’s Lucky Charm” Fantasia are honored to be among the participants at this national competition.

The event will take place this Friday, March 15 in Tulsa, Okla. and will feature the performance side of the Westminster Kennel Club show dogs.

Chappelear is a University of Georgia alumni and employee of the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Her boxer’s breeding father is of the “Tealcrest Boxers” in Clarksville, Tenn., while the mother is from “Fantasyland’s Lucky Charm Boxers” in Winterville.

This multi-day event features about 150 dogs and promotes a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for dogs at all levels of competition.

Chappelear attributes this honor to her supporting friends, family, co-workers and dog handlers who helped her reach this goal.
