Lindsey tapped as dean at Lanier Technical College

DAWSONVILLE, Ga. — Lanier Technical College has selected Troy Lindsey as dean of its Dawson campus.

Lindsey most recently served as the assistant dean of students at Shorter University’s Gwinnett campus.

Lindsey expects to graduate with a doctorate in educational ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Mo., in December of this year.

He has a master’s degree in Christian education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, La., a master’s degree in human resource development (adult education) and a bachelor’s degree in geography, both from Georgia State University in Atlanta.

Lindsey also has teaching experience at Chattahoochee Technical College and Shorter University.

He is also an active member of the National Academics Advisors Association (NACADA).

“I am excited to join the excellent team at Lanier Tech,” Lindsey said. “I look forward to continuing the firm relationships that have already been established in the Dawson County area. I am certain that building on the great foundation that Lanier Tech has established will be both challenging and fulfilling. My wife and I are also eager to relocate to the Dawson County area in the coming weeks.”
