January 27, 2013

CUMMING, Ga. — Someone took more than 100 gallons of used food oil from a restaurant, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.

Between Jan. 7 and Jan. 18, a thief broke into the dumpster area of Zaxby’s, 6020 Bethelview Road, and siphoned the oil out of the container.

A Zaxby’s employee told deputies an oil recycling company comes to take the oil when the container is full. He estimated the amount of oil was worth between $400 and $500.
