ALPHARETTA, Ga. – The Big Apple Circus will perform under a big tent at the parking lot A, accessible via the West Gate at 1775 Founders Parkway at the Verizon Amphitheatre at Encore Park from Feb. 1–18.

Spectators will experience the nostalgic thrills of bygone big tops and get a firsthand view of beauties, daredevils and clowns from another era. The audience will watch the mid-air flips and catches of a man on the trapeze, as a captivating contortionist shows off her flexibility that is as impressive as her steadfast poise and a juggling tango team performs to passionate rhythms. And it’s all led by an affable ringmaster and the great Big Apple Circus Band.

“This is the first time the Big Apple Circus has visited Alpharetta and we think it will be an exciting and fun experience for all who attend. This type of attraction fits in great with our energetic and active city,” said Janet Rodgers, president and CEO of the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau. “After the show, we encourage all visitors to make plans to stay the weekend in Alpharetta and explore all of the many happenings going on in the city.”
