Homeless man accused of stealing controllers
January 20, 2013
JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — A homeless man was arrested Jan. 2 for allegedly stealing game controllers from a local store.
Employees of the Target store on State Bridge Road said they saw Connor Fajardo, 19, of Suwanee enter the store about 1:30 p.m. and select four Playstation 3 game controllers, valued at almost $200 from the shelves. He then placed them into a shopping basket and then tried to leave the store without paying. Employees stopped him from leaving.
According to a police report, Fajardo admitted to the theft, saying he was homeless and he wanted to sell the controllers for money.
