Winners drawn for 'Elfaretta Giveaway'

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Five winners were drawn Friday, Jan. 4 for the annual "Where’s Elfaretta" holiday promotion which is presented by Alpharetta First and the Alpharetta Business Association and is sponsored by the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau, Donald Mitchell Design and State Bank and Trust Company.

Elfaretta plush toys were hidden in 20 downtown Alpharetta businesses beginning November 1 and shoppers were encouraged to find them in order to enter to win one of five prize giveaways.

There were 252 entries and the five winners drawn were Jay and Danielle Hackett, Quincie Florentino, Debbie Tuminello, Davis Koleos and the Gilkey family.

“The Elfaretta promotion is a great way to attract shoppers into our downtown and we are excited to see the entries grow from last year,” says Janet Rodgers, President and CEO of the Alpharetta CVB. “We would also like to thank Alpharetta First, the Alpharetta Business Association and the participating downtown merchants for all of their hard work in making this promotion a success.”
