Mailbox in Cumming damaged, shirts stolen

December 26, 2012

CUMMING, Ga. — Vandals uprooted a man’s mailbox and took his dry cleaning, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.

On Dec. 13, a man in the 1300 block of Crestbrook Drive told deputies that on Dec. 3 he went outside and found that someone had pulled his mailbox out of the ground and thrown it in his front yard.

The victim also told deputies that on Dec. 7, he placed five button-up shirts on his front porch for a laundry service to pick up. The shirts were not delivered back so the man called the launderer to see where they were. The laundry service told him there were not any shirts out for them to pick up.

The total value of the shirts is $125.
