All these animals want for Christmas is a forever home

CUMMING, Ga. — Humans aren’t the only ones who have a Christmas wish.
If the Forsyth County Animal Shelter animals’ wishes came true, they’d be spending the holiday in their new forever homes.
What child hasn’t, at least once, asked for a cat or dog from Santa?
Sure, many ask for a pony, but right now the shelter doesn’t have any ponies, so Santa is offering up dogs and cats, and a lot of them are free.
About 30 dogs and 25 cats currently share space at the shelter. All dogs in residence for more than six months, and cats over 6 months old are free to good homes.
Adoption fees for other cats and dogs are $85.
The shelter makes sure each animal is ready for adoption, including a full physical by a veterinarian, being up to date on shots and micro-chipped upon adoption.
Most pets are spayed or neutered too.
