Man in Cumming robbed while he slept

CUMMING, Ga. — A thief broke into a man’s home while he was sleeping, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.

At 9 a.m. Nov. 29, a man in the 5800 block of Bennett Parkway told deputies he heard someone ring his doorbell. He decided not to answer it and returned to sleep.

When he awoke at 11 a.m., he discovered his kitchen window was open and his wallet was missing from the counter.

The wallet contained the victim’s credit cards, identification and $60. No other items of value were taken.
