$6K in store charges run up on Alpharetta woman's credit card

ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Someone stole more than $6,500 from an Alpharetta woman’s bank account Nov. 25 using fraudulent credit card activity.
The victim told police the unlawful transactions were all made in Atlanta-area stores. Several were made at a Neiman Marcus on Peachtree Road and one was made at a Ferragamo in Atlanta. For the five purchases, four of them were more than $1,000 each. The last purchase was for a $2.25 bottle of Coca-Cola at a vending machine.
In all, $6,539.97 was stolen. The victim still has her credit card.
