Thief steals from joggers’ cars in Cumming

CUMMING, Ga. — A thief stole cash, credit cards, clothing and a GPS from three cars while the owners went running, according to separate Forsyth County Sheriff’s reports.

Three men told deputies they parked their cars at 8 a.m. Nov. 25 in the 3200 block of Trout Place Road. When the men came back two hours later, they each reported the front passenger window shattered from their cars.

One of the men told deputies a Garmin GPS valued at $275 was taken from his 2003 Volkswagen Jetta. Missing from the other victim’s 2001 Toyota Tacoma was a $250 leather jacket and $126 cash.

The third man told deputies his wallet and $100 cash was taken from his 2004 Chevrolet Silverado.
