The city [Roswell] said they were installing the cameras because there were too many accidents. Now they are taking them out because there are too few accidents. Drivers learned not to run the red lights. Do you think the accident rate will increase after the lights are gone? Gee, let me think!

So, was the city’s primary motive for installing the cameras revenue or safety?
