ROSWELL, Ga. - Roswell voters overwhelmingly approved a $14.7 million bond for the city to build a host of improvements throughout the city, with 64 percent of voters approving.
Included in the bond is a new fire station east of Ga. 400, new improvements on the Ga. 400- Holcomb Bridge Road interchange and several parks upgrades.
Other local races saw Congressman Tom Price winning re-election along with State Sen. John Albers.
The constitutional amendments to allow a new charter commission and multi-year state contracts both passed.
While Georgia voters supported Mitt Romney for president, President Barack Obama won re-election nationally.
