CUMMING, Ga. — A thief stole a cellphone out of a man’s mailbox, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.

At about 6 p.m. on Oct. 9, a man in the 6000 block of Audobon Trace told deputies he put the cellphone in his mailbox and raised the red flag to return it to the phone company.

At about 6 a.m. the next morning, the man noticed the package was no longer in the mailbox.

The Samsung S2 phone is valued at $500.
