FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – Someone broke out the window to a Chevron convenience store in Alpharetta and took a display containing “Spice,” according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.

Deputies were dispatched after an alarm call about 1:40 a.m. Feb. 8 to the store, 6415 Atlanta Highway. Investigators found an orange in color hammer on the store’s floor.

A box containing between 50 and 100 samples of “Spice” were taken. Spice, sold as aromatherapy incense, is supposed to mimic the effects of marijuana.

Symptoms can include rapid heart rate, vomiting, agitation, confusion and hallucinations, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
