The City of Johns Creek is accepting sealed Invitation to Bid (ITB) from qualified construction firms for the Kimball Bridge Road Trail Project. Sealed ITB’s will be received no later than 10:00 AM on June 20, 2013 in the City of Johns Creek Purchasing Office, 12000 Findley Rd., Suite-400, Johns Creek, Georgia, 30097 at which time ITB’s will be opened and publicly read aloud. ITB’s received after the above time or in any other location other than the Purchasing Office will not be accepted.

ITB packages including plans are available on the City website at www.johnscreekga.gov. Additional information may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office at (678) 512-3233. Please refer to ITB #13-171 and name, Kimball Bridge Road Trail Project, when requesting information. ITB’s shall be presented in a sealed opaque envelope with the ITB number and name clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. The name of the company or firm submitting an ITB response should also be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. TWO (2) ORIGINALS AND ONE (1) COPY OF THE ITB ON CD MUST BE SUBMITTED. ITB’s will not be accepted verbally or by fax or email. All offerors must comply with all general and special requirements of the ITB information and instructions enclosed herein.

The City of Johns Creek, Georgia (City) is seeking written statements of qualifications from qualified firms to provide Asphalt Repair and Patching maintenance services for the City. The property is located at the northwest corner of Webb Bridge and Morris Road adjacent to Georgia 400. Z-13-07/CLUP-13-06/V-13-04 Kimball Bridge Walk
Consideration of a request to rezone approximately 8 acres from R-8A and AG to CUP in order to allow “for-sale” detached single family homes on lots with a minimum size of 5,000 SF. The current R-8A only permits attached housing, and detached is requested. A change to the Comprehensive Land Use Plan from “Corporate Campus Office” to “High Density Residential” is requested and a variance to the CUP mininmum acreage and mix of use requirements. The property is located on the west side of Kimball Bridge Road and legally described as being located in Land Lot 801, 1st District, 2nd Section, Fulton County, Georgia.

Z-13-09/CLUP-13-08/V-13-06 Broadwell Road II
Consideration of a request to rezone approximately 11 acres from AG to R-15 in order to develop 18 single family homes. A request to change the Comprehensive Land Use Plan from “Very Low Density Residential” to “Low Density Residential” is also requested as well as a variance to the front setbacks from 35’ to 25’. The property is located at 12285 and 12275 Broadwell Road and 800 Old Rucker Road, and legally described as being located in Land Lot 1242, 1243, 2nd District, 2nd Section, Fulton County, Georgia.

CU-13-06 North Main Animal Hospital
Consideration of a conditional use for an animal hospital to be located at 562 N. Main Street. The property is legally described as being located in Land Lot 1124, 2nd District, 2nd Section, Fulton County, Georgia.

PH-13-03 Unified Development Code
Consideration of amendments to the Unified Development Code in order to establish and limit uses permitted within the first floor of buildings located in the Historic Business District. Other technical corrections throughout the document such as references to the “Director” will also be proposed.

Note: Georgia law requires that all parties who have made campaign contributions to the Mayor or to a Council Member in excess of two hundred fifty dollars ($250) within the past two (2) years must complete a campaign contribution report with the Community Development Department.
