Summit Hill Elementary School was recently featured on 11Alive for their fundraising to support "Pennies for Patients." "Pennies for Patients" is an organization within the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. Over a four year period, Summit Hill students have donated more than $26,000 dollars to this cause – the most of any school in Georgia. Region One-Act Play competition was held at Forsyth Central High School on Nov. 7. Forsyth Central High won the district competition with their show, "Lion in Winter" featuring cast members Avery Rabbitt, Tyler Bodenhamer, Chris Sharpley, Sam Little, Patrick Cheeves, Stephanie Bacastow and Patrick Dudley and directed by Yatesy Harvey, FCHS Drama Director. They traveled to Warner Robbins for the State Competition at Houston County High School on Nov. 14.
