CITY OF ALPHARETTA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The following items will be heard at a public hearing held by the Planning Commission on Thursday, March 7, 2013 commencing at 7:30 p.m. in the Alpharetta City Hall Council Chambers, 2 South Main Street, Alpharetta, Georgia. A Planning Commission workshop will be held prior to the meeting at 6:30 p.m.

Items forwarded by the Planning Commission will be considered by the City Council on Monday, March 25, 2013 commencing at 7:30 p.m. in the Alpharetta City Hall Council Chambers, 2 South Main Street, Alpharetta, Georgia.

Z-13-02/CLUP-13-02/V-13-03 Broadwell Dev./Todd Thrasher
Consideration of a request to rezone approximately 8 acres from AG to R-15 in order to allow for-sale single family homes on lots with a minimum size of 15,000 SF. A change to the Comprehensive Land Use Plan from “Very Low Density Residential” to “Low Density Residential” is also requested and a front setback variance from 35’ to 25’ and a corner setback reduction from 35’ to 25 feet. The property is located on the west side of Broadwell Road and legally described as being located in Land Lot 1207, 2nd District, 2nd Section, Fulton County, Georgia.

Consideration of a request to rezone approximately 11.5 acres from AG to R-15 in order to allow for-sale single family homes on lots with a minimum size of 15,000 SF. A change to the Comprehensive Land Use Plan from “Very Low Density Residential” to “Low Density Residential” is also requested. The property is located at 12290, 12270, 12250 Broadwell Road and legally described as being located in Land Lot 1242, 2nd District, 2nd Section, Fulton County, Georgia.

Consideration of a request to change the Preston Ridge Master Plan by adding “for-sale” residential use (attached and detached)to Pod G. A request to rezone from O-I to CUP is requested as well as a change to the Future Land Use Plan from “Corporate Campus Office” to “High Density Residential”. The property is located at the northwest corner of Webb Bridge and Morris Road adjacent to Georgia 400. The property is legally described as being located in Land Lots 1259, 1262, 1263, 2nd District, 2nd Section, Fulton County, Georgia.
