Hubcaps stolen at restaurant in Cumming

April 19, 2014

CUMMING, Ga. — Someone stole four rally style hubcaps from a car while the owner was inside a restaurant, according to Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.

About 9 a.m. March 30, a man told deputies he parked his 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the parking lot of Waffle House, 903 Buford Highway.

When he returned about an hour later, the hubcaps had been removed.

Deputies said the hubcap area had marks around them, and they found a butter knife, which looked like one owned by Waffle House, on the ground next to the car.
