CUMMING, Ga. — A woman's purse was stolen, and items it contained were later found in the trashcan of a restaurant, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.

On Jan. 19, a customer of Taco Bell, 651 Atlanta Road, told deputies her purse was stolen when she got up from her seat to get her food.

Her husband was also there, but he had gotten up at the same time to get their drinks. She said she did not notice her purse gone for about 15 minutes.

Deputies used the Find My iPhone app, and it said the woman's phone was still in the restaurant. They commanded the phone to play a tone and heard it coming from the men's restroom.

Deputies went inside and found the phone in the trashcan. They searched the women's restroom and found her wallet in the trashcan.

She said four credit cards and $150 in cash were missing from her wallet.

An employee said she saw two men leave the restaurant with the woman's purse.

She said both teens come in regularly, but she did not know their names.
