Boy Scouts to collect, recycle Christmas trees

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — The Boy Scout Troop 2000 want to help the environment this holiday season with a "Recycle your Christmas tree" campaign.

Boy Scout Troop 2000 will pick up Christmas trees on Saturday, Dec. 28 and Saturday, January 4.

A tax-deductible $10 donation (credit card and Paypal accepted) per tree will help support the local Boy Scout troop.

Visit website to sign up. Place trees near your mailbox by 7 a.m. on your pick up day, the scouts will do the rest.
