FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga.—Atlanta-based DS Waters of America Inc., owner of the Athena and Crystal Springs bottled water brands, recently presented a gift of $10,000 to the Northside Hospital Auxiliary.

The money will fund "care bags" for patients following breast surgery. Northside's Network of Hope cancer survivor network, a part of the auxiliary, delivers the care bags to patients.

"We are honored that the Northside Hospital Auxiliary is able to help support our patients on their cancer journey," said Carol Kratochvil, manager of volunteer services, Northside Hospital. "This donation from DS Waters enables us to continue to offer care bags to all breast surgery patients."

Since 2003, sales of Athena bottled water have contributed $1.6 million to the cause.

"After my wife's surgery for breast cancer, a volunteer from the Northside Hospital Auxiliary brought in a care bag, sat down and just talked with her," said Mark Campbell, vice president of sales and marketing at DS Waters. "The volunteer was a survivor who gave us information, hope and courage to move forward. We are pleased to support a program that delivers courage to those who are fighting their own battle."
